Twenty two

Writer: Megan Elizabeth Megan Elizabeth

Welp, it's been a week since the episodes aired. I've watched them religiously over the weekend. Laughing, crying, smiling, so many emotions. I remember watching the first episode and being utterly shocked listening to some of the testimonies.

Since I missed the first week of trial and the State's witnesses, I didn't know what to expect. I heard from everyone who did attend trial that "K" testimony was horrendous. I remember picking John up from court that day and he was sobbing, sobbing at the thought of his daughter being such an incompetent sociopath.

For 18 months she played her father. "Can I have money for this", "I need money for this", knowing her father would send it to her. Everything John had; the daughter wanted. She made it known. When John was bailed out in 2022 the daughter came over that week and cried on his shoulder, "I'm so sorry daddy". John, the gentle soul he is said "it's okay". For 18 months she'd show her face bad mouthing her mother and telling her "secrets". All we ever wanted and encouraged was for her to tell the truth.

John's words "I don't want you to lie I just want you to tell the truth". "I know daddy I will". She was hesitant on being called the stand and didn't want to, but when the State used her, she had no problem telling a different side when questioned. When the defense questioned her, she became a habitual liar. It makes me sick thinking about it.

I won't pretend that I know what it was like growing up in that household, but I can promise you John did everything he could for his kids. His body was tore up, but he went to work doing physical labor just to provide. For what, to have your whole life destroyed in the matter of 22 seconds.

Twenty-two seconds is all it took, fourteen of those seconds were spent brutally assaulting John with handheld metal pipes. FOURTEEN! John had 0.01 seconds to make a decision and after taking 17 blows to the head he took it. I'm not entirely my decision making would have been any different. Especially if my children were involved.

Know what I think? Hear me out, I know it sounds like something you watch on TV, but cmon lets evaluate everything.

  1. John called his daughter after receiving the LOL text. It rang once and she hit ignore. He text her "stay there I'm right here". She didn't respond.

  2. She supposedly had a diaper bag and car seat on top of her 2-year son. Yet none of it is seen on camera.

  3. She went to the opposite side of the street and the corner that sat on a busy intersection. She knows the route her dad takes.

  4. The mother and son were on the porch the whole time during the assault, yet their testimony changed 3x

  5. It was said weeks prior that the male was going to kick the daughter and "her" out, he was breaking up with her.

These are just a FEW of the main factors. Let's dive in. What if they were getting kicked out, what if they had nowhere to go? They would escalate "D" to the point of no return, and he would get rid of John. Then they could move into his house and live off of him financially. "D", not knowing there was a dash-cam would have gone to prison for killing John? I mean, why else lie the way they did? What are they hiding. You don't lie, cheat, and manipulate unless you are hiding something. John's assets make the most sense, however he has nothing! They don't know that they just know John is typically financially stable that they assume he has thousands laying around. Why else contact ME to get to his stuff? Why not sign the divorce papers? Seriously, what am I missing?

I'm open to any and all theories. What's your take? Good, bad, indifferent I want to hear it.
