I just can't seem to help myself. I just ate 3 candy bars and paced around the room trying to get the brain to shut off. It didn't help.
I have googled every way possible to bring awareness to John's story. I have written hundreds of letters, advocated on social media, and NOW I have created a petition to get John a new trial. Will it work? Probably not. Am I hopeful, absolutely! I have absolutely nothing else to lose, so why not try anything and everything?
I amaze myself sometimes. I can be the biggest idiot known to man. Completely oblivious, trip up curbs, I'm afraid of my own shadow, can't find my car in a parking lot but I swear I'm resourceful. I can sit and research things for hours and try to find a solution. Key word here, TRY.
I did a big thing last night, which I'll announce later in the week. I am hoping it helps with future plans and preparing, but if it doesn't it was a lesson learned. Today, I did some research on similar cases. One I found interesting and the further I dug the more I found out. This particular case had a petition going around requesting a new trial. The petition got 900,000 signatures and the defense was issued a new trial.
After investigating the case more, the new defense attorney and prosecutors came to an agreement and the case was dismissed. The individual had already served 3 years in prison for a murder she didn't commit.
I am advocating because John wasn't given a fair trial. It was corrupt from day 1 but I'm not going to let it end that way. Please consider following me on TikTok, subscribing to the blog, and signing the petition!!
