Why do you think the media twists things? I thought the purpose of the "news" was to report on factual information to update viewers? So far, nothing I have ever read from WKBN is accurate. I know the reporters aren't incompetenent, so what is it. Why is it so difficult to do research and investigate on their own? I can guarantee if the reporters actually did their own investigation opposed to relying on the police or court system, we'd get the truth more often. It's always one sided, every story ever written has always been biased. Why? Why do we believe and allow it?
None of it makes sense to me, but this whole situation doesn't make sense to me. It doesn't make sense that we have different levels of Appeals, yet they don't actually review the evidence. They review what they want and make a decision based on "who they owe".
John's denials were based on false information, inaccurate statements and lying testimonies. Any normal person off the street can reviewed the evidence and realize "whoa something is wrong". Yet our Justices can't? Nah, that's not how it works. There is NO legal, ethical way they reviewed every bit of evidence and came to the decision they came to. It's not possible.
The 26(B) motion that recently got denied was filed based on ineffective assistance of counsel. In which, the Appelate court reponsed with "while the appelant has good arguments the witness testimonies would have rendered a guilty verdict". What? If 12 jurors rendered a guilty verdict based on the LIES and false testimonies of the State's witness, we have a bigger problem in this Country!
If 12 individuals are that clueless and can't see past deceit and deception should they even be serving as a juror? So confused on this.
Did you read of the latest articles about John and his denials? Not one mention in any article from WKBN that we had Juror Affidavits stating they made the wrong decision based on faulty OJI? No, of course not. Why would they? That would look bad for Mahoning County and YPD. Did any one look up the docket and check out my sworn in Affidavits? All the evidence, corruption, lies, and again deception? How as a damn Justice, do you overlook that evidence? How! You are sworn to protect, honor, and obey yet you are literally throwing individuals in prison for LIFE based on FALSE information? You can't even make it right? Own up to the fact that you all made a TERRIBLE mistake? Cmon, why am I the only one who has an issue with this. Why is this OKAY!? I'm so frsutrated, so incredibly frustrated.
I hate life for a hot minute recently, it took me about a week to get over the Supreme Court decision, only to be hit with the recent decision on his 26(b). I'm mad again.
I keep asking for forgiveness, strength and guidance but I'm so flipping over it! Nice got me no where. Ethical got me no where. Trust got me no where. Why can't I just be like them? Do "shady" things. Lie cheat and manipulate people to get what I want?
I'll tell you why. My moral compass doesn't allow it! My gosh some days I wish it would. Some days I just want to say screw it and "wild" out. The second I do something unethical, the guilt consumes me. It's not humanly possible for me to be that "guy".
I guess another denial adds fuel to the fire. The fire in which I hope never dies, at least not until he's home with me. Although, I feel like this is something I want to do indefinitely. Fight for those who were wrongfully accused, or overcharged. So many individuals in our prison system who shouldn't be there. A system that was designed to rehabilitate, does any thing but rehabilitate. Repeat offenders, no jail time. First time ever being in trouble with any court system, "ehh sorry guy you get life". A crime your wife planned out to get rid of both men and BAM both families destroyed. For what, a financial gain? How are women so greedy? Damn, I rather be dirt poor and happy then rich and miserable.
